The Wealth Pyramid
There is a systematic way to create financial abundance in your life as a business owner. Most people just don't understand the formula.
For the last 15 years I've observed thousands of people navigate their financial journey with varying levels of success.
Some seem to endure a constant struggle, as if they were pushing against the current and nothing comes easily.
In contrast, some find themselves coasting through their wealth journey, on the fast track to their goals.
The contrast between these two groups is that the journey is a whole lot easier when you focus on the right next thing to get you to ascend.
Wealth is simple when you break it down. There are 5 stages of ascension and 10 psychological states. When you can understand your stage and mental state, you can find yourself in flow, focusing only on the next steps to get you from one stage to the next.
The stages themselves are easy.
1. Financial Battle - you're drowning financially as your expenses exceed your income. You will burn through savings or rack up debt to bridge the gap
2. Financial Comfort - you don't go without as your income meets your expenses. You tread water financially stuck in stagnation
3. Financial Growth - you have surplus and you're making it work for you. You're saving, paying down debt and building wealth
4. Financial Freedom - you own your home and it's paid off in full and you have enough passive income to choose what to do with your time
5. Financial Abundance - you have more than what you will ever need and you can focus on giving back to family, community and society
Reading this you should be able to identify exactly where you are and where you ultimately want to go.
These stages are logical, objective and there's a collection of tactics that will help you move from stage to stage.
But without a deep understanding of the psychology, you will find yourself hitting invisible ceilings that cannot be solved with intelligence.
1.1 Victim - blames the external environment for their situation and refuses to take personal responsibility. A victim cannot be helped.
1.2 Survivor - acknowledges the danger of their situation and fights to make ends meet. They are often stuck in a perpetual cycle as there always seems to be a threat for them to fight
2.1 Worker - trades time for money to create comfort. Lives in a
world where anything of value must require sacrifice
2.2 Player - understands the rules of the game and starts to use them in their favour to create leverage
3.1 Performer - plays at a high level and trades results for money. Uses these results to buy back time.
3.2 Conductor - coordinates players to combine their superpowers in harmony. This is where true compounding takes place
4.1 Trustee - manager of assets and must trust in their ability to control and protect the means that provide their freedom
4.2 Composer - a true manufacturer of wealth. Leverages their knowledge and systems to create resources in abundance
5.1 Hero - life is now about others and elevating their circumstances. The focus is all on impact
5.2 Legend - the world will decide if you were a legend once you are no longer of this earth based on the legacy you leave behind
The problem I see is that business owners fail to recognise what stage they are at and the mental state that supports them. They allow their aspirations to push them to pursue a higher stage of freedom or abundance before building their foundations at lower levels first.
Once you understand this framework, you'll realise that there are only a small selection of actions that get you from one stage to the next, allowing you to tune out to any distractions that are no longer relevant to your own personal wealth journey.
The friction of pushing against the grain dissolves and the effort you once required falls away, leaving clarity, confidence and conviction.
PS - I'm working on something new that gives you access to all of the tools, frameworks and support you need to ascend the wealth pyramid in life and business. Good news is you can get started with as little as $100.
